Anxiety in Evidence: Confusion
I know that I am weak and easily confused. God too knows this and has told us and shown us how to overcome this.
Anxiety in Evidence: Avoidance
I don’t think it is a surprise that avoidance is a flashing red light indicating that we are anxious about something.
Anxiety in Evidence: Anger, Part 2
Prayerful consideration behind anger and openly speaking truthfully of my fears has lifted me out of the paralysis of fear.
Anxiety in Evidence: Anger
Peter has got to be one of my favorite Bible guys. He made every mistake (read: sin) possible and Jesus loved him and accepted him all the same.

Jesus made choices for his own well-being and achieved everything without hurry, but rather with attention and care of the moment.
Anxiety in Evidence: Shame
We need only bring things to the Light, to Christ, and He makes things new and sets us free. anxiety and Christ: Shame need not follow us

Coronavirus Fear: Fighting back with scripture
But we have seen panic and anxiety around the globe, disinfectant and face masks flying off the shelves. There are many, many people with the what-ifs that are not just a stream of worry but have created rapids and waterfalls of worry. God is bigger than our fear.
Speak Truth
So, it in the Spirit that we have the self-discipline necessary to capture these thought patterns and subject them to Christ. Speak truth in the face of anxiety.
At the Center of Worry
When we are the center of our world, it easy to see why we would worry. God works best when he is at the center of our lives, of our thoughts, of our concern.
Stop the Worry Stream: Confess
Once all is known and in the light, then God acts. How many times have we instead been faced with fearful circumstances and chosen to hide? Stop the worry stream by confessing all to God. He stops the worry. He is bigger than worry.
Anxiety is a Spiritual Battle
His word, scripture, will secure us to stand firm against fear, anxiety, worry and concern, which all fall away in the face of His love. Anxiety is a spiritual battle.
