A Prayer for Peace

As the start to a new year in seeking peace, it seems wise to include regular prayer. Beseeching Him to impart His peace and further to help us understand it and live it out as we are called. So, each Friday this month you’ll find a prayer for peace.

Come Holy Spirit, fall afresh on me. The fullness of you means I will fruit peace. Sow the seed within me that I may indeed fruit as you will. You promise peace to me as your child and faithful follower. Increase my faith and the cause your peace to fill me in this year. Open my heart to the issues and people with whom I am not in peace, that I may fall to my knees in your will and make peace with them, as I have with you. Fall afresh on me. In your Spirit, Amen.
