At Christmas, we celebrate the Lord’s coming, in the past, in our hearts, and in the future. We celebrate his presence.

I’m overwhelmed today that our Lord chose to come by accepting the confines of the womb, the body, the life here on earth.

He chose to come for you, for me. He chose to be present in the everyday. He chose to be present in you and in me.  

This year of trust has made me lean more into him in the everyday, in the present. Our Lord knows all the possible tomorrows and he asks for those to be left in his hands, while we walk today with him.

He came as a child over 2000 years ago and still chooses today to live within you. He chooses to know you, to know your heart and be with you.

There is nothing like his presence, knowing he is here. Do you know it too?
